PREREQUISITES

All candidates must be a minimum of 15 years of age
CLARIFICATIONS ON THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT

Officiating requires a functioning level of maturity, responsibility, coping skills, and the ability to manage coaches and players. Therefore, candidates must have the confidence and ability to communicate to the Head Clinician, Assignors and OVA Staff directly, rather than having a parent or guardian do the communication on their behalf.
GENERAL OVERVIEW
Candidates will progress through 4 Sessions
Candidates MUST complete all four sessions to pass - NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you do not think you will be able to attend all sessions, please be aware that it will be recorded as a failure. Please plan your work, school and home schedules to ensure you can attend ALL SESSIONS as required. Cancellation requests will need to be submitted to the OVA directly within their cancellation policy deadlines, so please read the registration form carefully.

Note: Application Fees are subject to annual review by the OVA and can be found on the OVA's registration link.
HOW TO REGISTER

Pre-register on the KDVC Wait List to get an advanced registration link for our next Indoor Level 1 Clinic

Login to your OVA MRS account and complete the Level 1 Clinic Registration

For member type, select "Volunteer" - this will be upgraded once/if you are successful

Note: Candidates must have a UNIQUE email address - shared email family addresses are not permitted by OVA's MRS or Volleyball Canada's Arbiter platforms.
